JAMES P. JENSVOLD, DDS ORAL SURGEON – WOODLAND HILLS, CA

James P. Jensvold, D.D.S. completed his undergraduate studies at the University of California Berkeley where he was a Regents Scholar and a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at UCLA, where was also a Regents Scholar, and his Postdoctoral Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from the University of California San Francisco. He is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society.

In 1987, Dr. Jensvold began practicing in the full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Woodland Hills at his current location. Dr. Jensvold has staff appointments at West Hills Hospital and Northridge Hospital Medical Center (NHMC). He is past Chair of the Dental Department at NHMC and past Member of the Medical Executive Committee (NHMC). Dr. Jensvold has served on several committees of the California Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the San Fernando Valley Dental Society. Currently, he is the state Director of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons PAC, Chairman of the California Dental Association PAC and a Director of the California Dental Association PAC Advisory Committee.

Dr. Jensvold has a life-long interest in animal protection issues and has served on the Board of Directors of several local and national animal protection nonprofit organizations. He is a past member of the Los Angeles Animal Service Board of Directors.

In October 2014, Dr. Jensvold, was joined in practice by his longtime friend and colleague, Dr. Robert Hale.
